Pillars of light and Orange UFOs

The above video is three photos allegedly taken after a severe storm in Japan (location unknown) showing giant pillars of white light reaching to the sky.
Not much is known and most people where quick to proclaim hoax.
I cannot be sure even if it looks like a poor Photoshop job, because in this day and age, who does photo hoaxes any more?
And, in response to my own rationale, why (in this day and age again) has no one posted a video of the same incidents?  We’ll see..

And in the above video, a new (?) kind of UFO, Hexagon-shaped and orange, seems to be making the rounds around the globe.

Seriously, there’s so much UFO activity posted every day on YouTube that it’s just not worth it posting every single one! Did anyone say UFO flap? We haven’t heard that in ages. But that’s a topic for another post.

UFO activity in an all-time high. Video

Yes, it’s just what the title says. We have all seen the UFO reports flooding in this Summer, but here’s a nice video compilation to complement the news clippings. Think of it as a visual aid on imagining the strange days to come.

And it’s all from THIS June!

Strange Aerial Being over Mexico

Although this cannot be described as a UFO as the title says, or even as a video, as it is a series of photographs, it is nonetheless amazing!
It is a news story by Openminds.tv, describing a series of photos of the skies of Mexico City. The photos, taken with an extreme telephoto lens (see telescope on camera), depict what the reporter describes as a jellyfish-like being, undulating in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Although I wish he had a video DSLR, so we could see some HD footage for ourselves, it still makes a very interesting watch, and raises some hard questions: What is out there? (yeah, I know, the Truth is out there)

UFO videos and cinematic reality

Seeing this UFO video (or videos) supposedly shot by multiple witnesses, somewhere in Canada, made me want to share some thoughts.
These thoughts are not in regard to the validity of the video, since plenty of people have already commented “how fake it looks”..
I don’t feel a video is enough to make an analysis any more. It was enough 30 years ago, but not now.. Bear with me:

I began to wonder what makes people claim out loud “it’s fake”. Most of them deal in Photoshop and After Effects, so they are no strangers to graphics. But the argument “I can make this in After Effects” is a non-argument: I can make the Space Shuttle launch in After Effects and 3D Studio Max, but that does not mean that the launch you see on TV is fake!

We are deeply saturated with visual effects iconography, so much that it makes me wonder: Would we know the difference between Visual Effects and reality?
The difference between a good and a bad VFX shot these days is camera shake!

I wonder, if the video had camera shake, how would it alter the perception of the viewers?
And, more importantly, since so many commentators relied on the “it looks fake” proposition, I have another question:
If the event pictured was real how would it look? I mean, have you seen many Inter-dimensional Wormholes lately? Then, please, let us know how they look on video!

My point is that if we are to judge something outside everyday reality, we cannot afford to use everyday reality arguments on it.

That being said, the video is probably fake, but I made my point..

UFO fleets getting closer to Home

Okay, so we have come to expect (!) UFO fleets over backwater countries such as Mexico, Chile, Taiwan and Lebanon. I don’t think there is a reason for that, other than the fact that the people of those countries are somewhat less educated than.. well… us, and thus we perceive the media of those countries as prone to folklore and sensationalism.
It’s not that I think it’s all crap: Just that it is not quite credible, not quite proven, not quite meaningful.

Well, it’s getting interesting. And closer to home.
First, Russia: On May 12, a vast UFO 200 meters across (!) terrorized a village in Far East Russia hovering above their heads.

The object was seen with the naked eye even from people at a military base nearby, but was not detected by radar. The military thus decided to fire artillery shells at the UFO if it became hostile. But, apparently, the mysterious aircraft would then start up quickly and disappear from view.

Complete account here.

Now, Milan, Italy:

Now, Milan isn’t your typical third-world city, is it?
Makes me wonder.. Is the phenomenon increasing in intensity, as it certainly appears to? I am not sure, but I have a sense that more and more things will come to light as the time passes.
Are they, Alien Crafts, strange beings from another dimension, refracted light, or a mass delusion by people trapped in a small planet with no way out?
Maybe it is the Strange Days we’ve all been waiting for, the Interesting Times we cursed each other with.

Either way, I’m watching, patiently. The Pattern will be revealed eventually.

More fleets here.

Pyramid Ufo Film from 1968

The above film segment aired on the History Channel, apparently retrieved from Government Records in the Ukraine.

Very interesting, and probably not a hoax, but that is not why I am posting it.

My problem is with the timing: These days, UFO sightings are on the rise, and most of them are triangles, or pyramids if you prefer.
Dozens of reports from all over the world, plus photos and videos.

Why is that? The Pattern is unmistakable. In the 40’s it was flying saucers, in the 50’s and 60’s it was cigar shapes, now it’s triangles.
So is it a coincidence that this film appeared just now?

image

The above pie chart pretty much illustrates the scarcity of triangles, compared to the ever-popular flying saucer.
So, is it a meme? A mass delusion? Or, more importantly, is this a case of Truth being in the Eye of the Beholder, as Jacques Vallee has illustrated long ago?

Are triangle UFOs the product of our mind’s eye, or are they the First Wave?
And why does it all stink so much with purpose?

Strange Days part 2

And getting stranger by the day, pardon the loop.
This flood of UFO and alien related info could be just the result of a global feeling of entrapment, kind of like rats in a cage multiplying too fast, or it could be what it seems. (although the latter is rarely true)

I‘ve been following the Russian UFO crash story, and the newest development is that the two people who made the video have admitted it is fake.
Or where they coerced by the ubiquitous Men in Dark? I mean, well you know what I mean. Original story here, and the crash story (in Russian) here.

Things getting weirder now. Some guy seems to have discovered a document on the NASA website dealing with the deciphering of alien messages (!). I don’t want to comment on that one. Could be a drill or something, but still, pretty intriguing.
Read it here.

And the weirdness just keeps escalating.. Read this:

A shocking ‘top-secret’ report prepared Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) on their meeting this past week with Prime Minister Putin, in Novgorod region, warns that our planet Earth is ‘under attack’ by an as yet unnamed ‘extraterrestrial entity’ to which President Medvedev has responded by ordering a second regiment of S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile system to protect Moscow from low-Earth orbiting ‘targets’.
According to this report, the extraordinary gamma-ray explosion first observed in deep space on March 28 by NASA’s Swift satellite, and that has so far lasted an unprecedented 12 days, appears to be ‘communicating’ with the massive Asteroid 2010 SO16 , the largest space rock ever discovered so close to Earth, and Asteroid 2005 YU55, a round mini-world that is about 400 meters (1,300 feet) in diameter and which in early November will approach our planet within a scant 0.85 lunar distances.
Though Russian scientists have as yet been unable to identify what these ‘communications’ mean, this report continues, the effects upon our planet are being widely observed due to these two Asteroid’s shooting of ‘blue beams’ into our Earth’s upper atmosphere that have been captured on video in Russia, New Zealand and by the International Space Station. (…)

Confused yet? Full story here.

To finish this piece, I saved the best for last! Some guy made a video compiling UFO reports from TV and photographs from the past two years, showing that these things are escalating. Yes, we knew that, but it’s nice to see it all in one place.

The interesting part, for me at least, starts at 8:15. If that does not creep you out, you have ice water in your veins. And it also gives a nice sense of closure to all this!
And by closure I mean Invasion.

Strange Days

The Internet these days is full of UFO videos, alien videos, Ultra-secret information leaks, conspiracy theories and more. From alien involvement in the Japanese tragedy to full-blown Invasion, it’s all out there.
But alien videos, that’s all the rage right now. Stick aliens, Grays, dead aliens, you name it, in full Technicolor in a monitor near you.
Now, this has two possible explanations:

  1. They are getting more at home, an invasion is imminent, and I need to stock up on food getting ready for the Alien Apocalypse. (and by food I mean Cheese Puffs and Beer)
  2. The Internet Hoaxers Union has actually found a way to monetize these videos and make real money of our gullibility. (has YouTube opened up it’s Partner Program?)

The Internet being the only free and limitless information outlet, does not mean that it is not full of shit. I am reminded of an old saying: “If you keep your mind sufficiently open, people are going to throw a lot of garbage in it”. I forget who said that. Never mind.

Two specimens below: An alien corpse in Russian snow, and a Grey sighting with a lot of “shit” and “fuck” as background noise. Enjoy and do not make up your mind. You DON’T HAVE TO have an opinion about everything..

Interest or Involvement?

Video allegedly taken two hours before the Japan quake.
There is a long history of UFOs taking an interest in human affairs, usually pre-dating the event, as if they know what’s about to happen. That is why in the Middle Ages luminous objects in the sky where considered prophets of doom.
They seem to continue to appear just before major disasters up to today, creating a whole new (and different) set of questions.

The validity of the video above is non essential. But the question that permeates the phenomenon is: Do they observe beforehand or create the disaster?

Motives and/or purposes are too far out there to contemplate. Besides we have no idea what they are! Hey, maybe we should take a look at Medieval Lore. They seemed to have some ideas.. Demons you say?

On a related note, the Jerusalem Temple Mount Ufo case continues to draw controversy.Debunkers all over the place are laboriously trying to prove it a fake (maybe too laboriously) and more videos from different angles continue to surface. This is proving harder to discredit than some people thought..

Temple Mount UFO - hot topic!

An Internet Controversy has erupted concerning a UFO that appeared over the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. Now the two above videos appear to be authentic and synchronized, despite efforts to debunk. The debunkers where debunked and, well, the truth did not exactly shine but it is nonetheless interesting. You cannot expect the Truth in these matters, right?

One of the four videos was actually fake, as it seems from this debunking attempt.

And yes, there is a fourth one:

Cool stuff, especially if it is real. The only thing that bothers me is the resemblance of the situation with the events in Skyline, the sci-fi movie recently released. Not proof of fake, but something to make you (and me) wonder..

IF it is real, what are They interested in? Could it be the Foundation Stone? Could it be that ancient relics and points of power have a more profound significance that just religion? Questions, questions.. Answers please!

Alien (or Cryptoterrestrial) caught on tape

Well, I don't know if this is a hoax, and I am not even sure I can make sense of the captions on this video, but if it is for real it cannot simply be light-play.
The way it just appears, with no craft in sight reminds me of the Cryptoterrestrials theory by Mac Tonnies, a book I had read (and loved) some time ago. Now the fact that there is no craft in sight could mean that the craft is also invisible, but..
Anyway, I have this feeling that I have seen this before, so if anyone has any info, let me know.

The Fourth Kind of Hoax

Saw the movie The Fourth Kind a couple of days ago, and I just had to write something about it.
To get it out of the way, yes I liked it. Very much. It's been a while since I saw something as creepy and disturbing as this.
If you liked The Mothman Prophecies, chances are you are going to like this one as well.
The film is styled in a documentary kind of way, and starts by pronouncing everything in it to be true, but a quick search proved that it was all a viral marketing plan by Universal, ending in criticism and a fine of $20.000...
The marketing campaign was backed by fake news sites among others, which probably played a big part in the negative criticism and legal action that ensued.
Here's a breakdown of the investigation by Kyle Hopkins, done even before the film was released.
So why even bother? Well, it is this documetary-style, slow-moving directorial pace that gives the film it's ominous atmosphere, as well as the abduction elements, that are not as far-fetched as the uninitiated might think. The director clearly has done his research or is a full-fledged UFO freak. Good stuff.

I am afraid I cannot comment on the plot without spoiling it for some, so see it for yourselves. All I can say is that the UFO community out there (the internet) is of a very poor quality, home of the uninformed, confused, messed up or plain screaming crazy... Just take a look at any UFO forum...

The trailer is here..

Mile-wide UFO seen by pilot and passengers

image

A very recent (June)  sighting of a massive UFO over the Channel Islands in the UK.
The news report taken from here.

One of the largest UFOs ever seen has been observed by the crew and passengers of an airliner over the Channel Islands.

An official air-miss report on the incident several weeks ago appears in Pilot magazine.

Aurigny Airlines captain Ray Bowyer, 50, flying close to Alderney first spotted the object, described as "a cigar-shaped brilliant white light".

As the plane got closer the captain viewed it through binoculars and said: "It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area.

"It was 2,000ft up and stationary. I thought it was about 10 miles away, although I later realised it was approximately 40 miles from us. At first, I thought it was the size of a [Boeing] 737.

"But it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide."

Continuing his approach to Guernsey, Bowyer then spied a "second identical object further to the west".

He said: "It was exactly the same but looked smaller because it was further away. It was closer to Guernsey. I can't explain it. This was clearly visual for about nine minutes.

"I'm certainly not saying that it was something of another world. All I'm saying is that I have never seen anything like it before in all my years of flying."

The sightings were confirmed by passengers Kate and John Russell. John, 74, said: "I saw an orange light. It was like an elongated oval."

The sightings were also confirmed by an unnamed pilot with the Blue Islands airline.

The Civil Aviation Authority safety notice states that a Tri-Lander aircraft flying close to Alderney spotted the object.

"Certain parts of the report have not been published. I cannot say why," said a senior CAA source.

Earlier this year, however, the MOD declared its intentions to open its UFO files to the public.

Below a brief interview with the pilot.

And all this as 2009 has seen a huge increase in sightings and reports of UFOs, getting easier to capture them with cell phones being one interpretaion.
The other interpretation, well, it’s tricky. I mean it is easy to arbitrarily predict invasion scenarios and stuff, especially when the objects in question have used the same hide-and-seek technique for decades now. Apparently being able to slip in and out of invisibility (or dimensions) comes in handy when you want to peek-a-boo the natives. This will lead them to more awareness of the phenomenon, which in turn will lead to popularization, stupid movies, t-shirts and paranoids, thus stripping of power the original concept.
Right?
I mean Operation Trojan Horse was written many years ago, and I still have not seen them hovering defiantly over us, carrying out their sinister plans..

Hmmm. Things are usually trickier than they seem, and this deserves some fresh thoughts and paradigms. Soon…

CARET controversy continues.. Hoax or not?

image The Internet controversy continues as to the authenticity of the documents and info provided by the person (?) with the alias Isaac. Here is his page, which is quite informative, and well written IMHO.

This thing has taken such proportions in the confined and claustrophobic internet spaces that Alienware, a hardware company, has adopted some of it's riddles and design in it's marketing campaign, leading many people to believe that "Isaac" had ripped them off the campaign. It reached Alienware of cource, who rushed to clarify that they where the ones ripping off the content, and that they hold no intellectual property or copyright over the materials.

The Alienware mail as well as some history can be found here.

Are you convinced that it is a hoax? Am I?

I still think it is a very elaborate piece of work, not to mention tasteful and well designed. Users of the above forum claim that some of the elements of the craft and objects can be found in public 3D libraries. Yes, but which appeared first? I fear that is a question not even Google can answer...

And, last but not least, why hasn't the person who put this thing together (assuming someone on earth has) come forward to claim the glory? Nobody would cause such a stir and then sit quietly and wait for it to die down.. Or would they?

Tons of parameters here: artistry, ego, work, fame, bullshit, ridicule, and the list goes on.

Just like life...

Real Estate Agents at work...

Well, they might have not made the grand appearance they where supposed to, but they are apparently lurking in other parts of the world, probably trying to find premium spots for their beach houses.. Istanbul being such a prime piece of real-estate, they made several appearances over there, and over a long period of time, not taking into account the widespread nature of portable video cameras.
Now, the video, aside from the hilarious translation attempt, is not the most shocking piece of evidence you can find. Anyone who has a rudimentary knowledge of UFO research can spot the problems.. Very shaky footage, no point of reference (if it was cut in editing it was a very poor decision), no action whatsoever (unless hovering in the same spot for long periods of time and then vanishing is considered action), and a general "let's make a UFO video tonight using simple household items" feeiling to it..
I could be wrong. I wish I am wrong. I wish that the luminous UFO is not a car transmission or a drainage pipe, but an actual craft piloted by something other than humans.
But, let's face it. Unless they perform a landing and takeoff near several news crews with high-def cameras, noone is going to take such stuff seriously.
Can you blame them?
