The Curse of the Crying Boy (painting)

image

This post reminded me of a story I heard about many years ago, and then forgotten: The story of the Crying Boy Paintings..
According to the Urban Legend, partially created by Tabloids in the UK, homes which had the painting, burned to the ground, the fire leaving only the crying boy painting unharmed. The story gets more complicated as there seem to be a lot of paintings (28, see below) depicting crying boys, all of which are associated with fires.

The whole story can be found at the Fortean Times, where it is mentioned that the painter responsible for the paintings is one Giovanni Bragolin, and that “feelings of terror and illness are always associated with his paintings.”

Now, all talk of curses aside, the whole concept behind this story (at least my take on it) is very interesting: That a geometric configuration, even in a two-dimensional depiction (like a painting) can directly affect the environment and, probably, natural laws.

It has been an ancient law of Magic that designs (see Magic or Invocation Circles) can produce effects, invoke entities and generally  wreak inter-dimensional havoc.

image

A modern version of this (yes, there is Modern Magic and it is called Magick) is the Sigil.
A Sigil is a magical symbol that represents a force, and is used to invoke that force.

But, if a geometric design or a painting can open a portal to outer forces, can this happen by accident? Can I draw a few lines or a landscape, where some unintended formations perform an action? Is it accidental at all? Can a drawing start a fire or propel a UFO?

Besides the psychological effect, do all paintings have some sort of magical action attached to them unintentionally? Magick of course being the name of a science so far advanced it appears to be as magic.

Remember the Caret Designs? I cannot seem to get them out of my head. There is a connection to be found there. To UFOs, propulsion, art, magic, everything.

The only thing we are missing is a place to start.
Opinions welcome, as always.

Nibiru behind the black

5h 53m 27s,-6 10' 58

This image is from Google Sky, at coordinates 5h 53m 27s,-6 10' 58.
As you can see there is a black rectangle there, covering whatever is underneath.
So what is underneath? Well, it could be very well be the location of the legendary Nibiru, Planet X, the home of the Nephilim, the Destroyer, Bolon Yokte or the final destination of Zecharia Sitchin’s Stairway to Heaven.
Debate is going strong as to what this entails, and if it could be a hoax, a software error as was “disclosed” or something a lot more sinister.
Pointing towards that last option is the video below, hinting at a larger conspiracy..

It describes a “rather elegant disinformation campaign” conducted over a long period of time with these goals:

  • Discredit Previous Disclosures
  • Mitigate Future Disclosures
  • Exhaust Public Interest

Now this kind of campaign sounds very familiar, having been used extensively over the years on the matter of Ufos and contactees, through intimidation and ridicule. You see, they, whoever they are, may not know much about the given subject, but they do their best so we won’t know.
I think the biggest fear of any Intelligence officer, Elect Official or other person of authority is this scenario:
After the Disclosure, people start asking “What does this all mean?”
And he has no idea what to answer, or what it all means for that matter…

That ignorance is enough to spawn the biggest conspiracies, and the greatest crimes. That gives a new meaning to “the need to know basis”…
Know what? Practically nothing..

The black square cannot cover ignorance.

Seeing With New Eyes

The real act of discovery consists not in finding new lands but in seeing with new eyes.”
Marcel Proust

This article by William Henry was a great reading and thinking experience. It is like a follow-up to a previous post about the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, as well as to most of the stuff in here.. It is not perfect, but it is fun to read and most of his correlations deserve attention.

Let’s see some highlights.

image
The first passage is from the famed Cosmic Alignment on Dec 21 2012.

..the Mayans say from out of this tree/star alignment comes a serpent rope with an enlightened being named Nine Winds or Quetzalcoatl riding upon it and a blessed substance’ or ‘sap’ the Mayans called itz (literally ‘the blessed substance’) apparently spewing from it.
Usually, when one thinks of ‘sap’ they’re thinking of a watery liquid nutrient that circulates through the conducting tissues of a plant or tree (that or a person who acts like an idiot). However, when I Go(ogle)d, excuse me, Googled, ‘cosmic sap’ I found that ‘sap’ is also an acronym for ‘sub atomic particle’ (or sap).

image

Now compare the ATLAS Detector in CERN with the source of emanation from the Mayan Depiction. Cool, huh?

Another really cool comparison is that of the ATLAS with the Dharma Initialive logo from Lost. (Yup, I’m a Lost freak, get over it)
 image
He goes on to discuss Jesus, the creation, Osiris, Shiva, all with a no-bullshit, frank and mostly funny demeanor. A ton of information is in there, and it is well worth your time.

The whole thing was enlightening, but left me with some burning questions, and they cannot be answered by Googling:

Who is behind CERN? I don’t mean the States providing funding.
Who chose the location? Does it bear some significance? Are any of the founders members of secret societies of any sort?
Who convinced cheap-ass governments with the combined intellectual capacity of an ashtray to give billions to something non-profit? They still give tons of money. If that is not indicative of something fishy, then I am officially weird.

All I could find out was that it started back in 1954.
And that it is responsible for the development of the World Wide Web and hypertext. No small thing there. It propelled information into the future. Us too. Can someone have planned this? The Illuminati, the Sufis, the 72?
Are they at it again?

We have come a long way since John Keel questioned everything science had to say. A long way indeed.
Are those scientists in CERN the instruments of some driving force determined to push mankind?
Push. Where, I wonder.. Forward or off the cliff?
Come to think of it, off the cliff is not such a bad idea.
They say that way, you can learn how to fly.

It’s ok, they are trying to save you from yourself

In this article in the NY Times, which has been around quite a lot, the implications of the Higgs Boson experiment in the Large Hadron Collider are subject to speculation. Not the experiment itself, but the bad luck it seems to attract. To quote one of the scientists:
“It must be our prediction that all Higgs producing machines shall have bad luck,” Dr. Nielsen said in an e-mail message. In an unpublished essay, Dr. Nielson said of the theory, “Well, one could even almost say that we have a model for God.” It is their guess, he went on, “that He rather hates Higgs particles, and attempts to avoid them.”
Notice how the suspected culprits are “The Universe”, “God”, and other such non-conversational, abstract entities.
Of course the more conspiratorial of bloggers have boldly gone where it is easy to go, suggesting alien and therefore sentient involvement. Not God or Physics, but beings with eyes and a brain. Maybe.
To complicate things further, this letter arrived at Fermilab, back in 2008, which made them ask for help from more experienced codebreakers.
Fermilab code letter
Well, the first part apparently means
“FRANK SHOEMAKER WOULD CALL THIS NOISE”
I don’t know who Frank Shoemaker is, but it intrigued a lot of people.
Is it a hoax? A coincidence? The Universe trying to warn the smartest people on Earth about the dangers of the Higgs particles?
I cannot answer any of that, but it sure is cool . Not just the letter.
The possibility is seriously considered that we are being contacted.
And I mean seriously-no nonsense- top scientists considered..
Well, if they make contact at last, I for one will consider the LHC a BIG SUCCESS! Who needs Higgs particles when you have successfully coaxed the aliens out of hiding?
This post was inspired by the Posthuman Blues, the blog of the late Mac Tonnies. Shame when the good ones die young.

Stargates among us, conspiracy and afterthought

image

I came across the site of Chad Stuemke, and quickly dismissed it as another fantasy-ridden moneymaker. Then I took a closer look and actually read the text..
Wait a minute.. This guy is not trying to sell the idea that our Cities are riddled with Portals to everywhere, and all you need to open them is to buy his book or DVD. Instead, he makes it perfectly clear that he is investigating Symbolism appearing in cities, and argues that it seems too complicated to be coincidence.

Now, that struck a chord and brought back memories, of a time when a certain person claimed that our city, Athens, Greece,  was full of Mystery Places, Portals, Loci as was the term (plural to Locus). There was evidence of that (if evidence can be had on a purely subjective basis), and some of that evidence was witnessed by me. A marking here, an unusual lighting there, a building that looked, well, weird. You get the picture. It is all very subtle, and, admittedly, not conclusive, but it added a certain degree of magic to an otherwise drab city, not to mention my way of thinking.

Two schools of thought can account for all that.
The first is that cities naturally grow around and encompass Places of Power, changing their appearance but not their essence. Not cities themselves, but the people building them. An architect who added a little detail to a certain corner of a building, not sure why but he liked the way it looked. A homeowner who arranges his garden around a block of stone that’s been there for who knows how long. A public works planner who likes the way a certain street lamp looks on a certain road, and deviates from the standard, as if marking the place for those who know what to see..
image
The second and slightly more disturbing is that THERE IS ACTUAL THOUGHT behind every norm-altering detail. That the Sacred Geometry of our cities is dictated by Those Who Rule The World In Secret, slowly nudging it towards the (right?) direction.
The Illuminati? The Sufis? The Masters of Shamballa?
I don’t know but it generates a warm feeling (dread?) to think that there is someone wise enough out there to plan all our fates, without us ever noticing. And if they left clues, can we see them?
Walter Rathenau comes to mind:

Walter Rathenau, writing in the Wiener Press (24 December, 1921) said, “Only 300 men, each of whom knows all others govern the fate of Europe. They select their successors from their own entourage. These men have the means in their hands of putting an end to the form of State which they find unreasonable.” Exactly six months after publication, Rathenau was assassinated.

I had read that Rathenau, at the day he was assassinated, claimed that those who rule the world are 72. Then I saw this image of the mural on Freedom’s Gate in the U.S. Capitol.
image

George Washington, the first President of the US surrounded by 72 stars… And then I am reminded of his uncanny resemblance to Adam Weisshaupt, founder of the Bavarian Illuminati..

The bottom line of this article is: Watch your surroundings and don’t let your brain file everything away as normal. It could lead to eventual madness, I admit, but to some interesting discoveries as well. You could start noticing things very few people notice.

Have you ever been on a street at night, where the light looked like it had a bluish purple tint, although it came from totally ordinary street lamps?
And did you walk to the end of the road?

Geoff Ryman's AIR and our Parallel Universe Within

"In the future, everyone will be able to talk with their dead."  AIR

I just finished reading Geoff Ryman's Air, and I could not resist this post, not so much as a review, but as some afterthought on ideas expressed that, well.. are great. Thought- provoking, gentle, clever, different. This book is great.
It takes place in a remote village in China (?), in a not so remote future, exploring the complex rural dynamics after the coming of Air. So what is Air?
In that future, scientists have discovered that the extra dimensions co-existing with our own 3, can be accessed by the human brain after some minor over-the-air modification. That in turn creates the Ultimate Internet, a technological gestalt of sorts, where people use their minds to navigate through the accumulated knowledge of humanity (albeit not always free), communicate instantly and leap through in evolution.
Don't get the wrong idea here: this is not hardcore sci-fi stuff. We learn all that by following the simple life of a peasant trying to make something of herself. We see the change through her eyes and experience her loss and heartbreak when all goes wrong, her joy when good things happen. If anything, this novel is human above all, showing us that what makes us human can only become more prominent with technology. Sounds like a contradiction, but you have to read it to see for yourselves.
Air is like the Dreaming of the Aborigines mentioned before, like the place in our heads where childhood memories and dreams reside. Air is the Past, the Present and the Future all rolled into one.
Geoff Ryman reminded me that what can be dreamt, can never be forgotten. That forgetting is dying. That all that is good in us is not lost but coexists with everything else, even the bad.
That we learn through all eternity in our dreams.
Thank you Mr Ryman for reminding us. We need that from time to time.
