Aokigahara Forest

Steadily numbered among the Creepiest Places on Earth, Aokigahara forest, on the foothills of Mt Fuji in Japan, is where people go to die, and where spirits seek comfort. It is so dense that it has areas that have never seen the light of day!
Dear friend Aerosol sent me the link this August, but kept putting it off. Well, here is a nice excerpt:

Aokigahara is a wonder of nature, a place of pristine beauty. That being said, beauty is not what the forest is most famous for.
No, it is most famous as a forest of death. Or, more accurately, a forest where people come to die.
It’s a forest of suicide.
In the past sixty years or so, nearly five hundred people have gone to Aokigahara to end it all….

The forest has long been associated with ghosts. One type of ghost in particular: the Yurei. These are the restless dead, spirits who have been torn from life unnaturally. They howl their suffering to the winds.  But maybe that’s simply the winds whistling through the stillness in the Sea of Trees, being mistaken for ghostly moans by frightened and superstitious travelers.
In any case, the Japanese take this idea of Yurei very, very seriously. Yearly sweeps are made of the forest looking for suicide victims. Beyond these, the members of the forestry service go about their daily duties, but keeping a watchful eye out for bodies. Now and then they find one. Many times they’re hanging from low branches, decomposed and gnawed by wild things. They cut the poor soul down and take the body back to the station, to a special room built for the dead. A room with two beds.
See, the Japanese believe that if the body were left in the room alone, the Yurei will scream its agony all through the night. Worse still, the body of the dead will rise up and enter the regular sleeping quarters. To prevent this, someone must share the room with the body.

Spooky, right? I love places where legends are right there, where you feel something is wrong, but cannot quite tell what.

Air Force still investigating UFOs?

The Huffington Post reports that after an enquiry they made to the US Air Force about UFOs being mentioned in the Personnel Manual, the Air Force promptly deleted any reference to UFOs in the said manual.

The Huffington Post asked Pentagon officials about the purpose of the UFO section.

Before the recent revisions, the document -- Air Force Instruction 10-206 -- advised pilots, radar operators and other Air Force personnel on what to do when they encountered any unknown airborne objects. Now in the 2011 version, the reference to UFOs -- which simply means "unidentified flying objects," not necessarily spaceships with little green men -- has been eliminated.

Now this is interesting, mainly because this is highly suspect behavior, right? I mean, why do it at all if you have nothing to hide?
The author goes on to quote a former military officer about the Nuclear Missile Incident in 2010. Apparently it was not the only one of it’s kind..
Besides named and unnamed informants of doubtful credibility, the case is suspect nonetheless, and the smoke here surely suggests fire..

Chinese Area 51 attacked? Strange Pics

This is one of the images from Google Earth sent to an editor of viewzone, along with the claim that this is the “Chinese Area 51” and was recently devastating by unknown causes. The rectangle pictured above is of unknown origin and spans almost a mile (!) while the road-like lines are more than 30 meters wide!
What could it possibly be?
In other photos runways are clearly seen, antennas, buildings, containers and more shapes of unknown purpose around a small village.

Shapes erected in 2006 seem to be blown to bits, craters can be seen and lots of weirdness throughout.

Here’s what the sender says:

The reader says this is Top Secret area in a remote part of China. This is the Chinese "Area 51" where captured (alien?) technology is kept and tested. It is also near by where the nuclear bombs were detonated many years ago. Supposedly the main laboratories are underground. You can see the entrances if you look at the images. Contact has been made with other "technology" (?). A new propulsion system was being tested. But it was not well controlled and could not be stabilized. An accident happened and the device blew up. The area is very contaminated now.

Wow. And I mean if all this is not a munitions bunker in an air force base  destroyed by accident and the strange white lines are not some sort of greenhouse, then we definitely have something going on!
I mean the writer claims that
“There's a sign of an explosion in places with the ground riddled with 10 foot craters, as if cluster-bombed. “

Cluster bombs from above are not the sign of an accident. Then again, they are not the sign of an alien attack either! Really? Aliens with cluster bombs?

Nevertheless this is really interesting, and I have a feeling there’s more to this than meets the eye. We just need an aerial photography analysis expert to let us know what we are seeing.

And on a side note, isn’t Google Earth a great tool? I mean, all you need is patience and a lot of luck! Besides all the random UFOs, imagine the strangeness waiting to be discovered….

Alien appearing in the Amazon

I have not that much to tell, nor to see in the video or the photos.. Light play, puppet, cgi, your guess is as good as mine.

Rendlesham, UFO on BBC.com and PCMag

First, this interesting page on Rendlesham Forest, it’s weird history continuing, as it does in all truly Haunted Places. For those not familiar with the history of Rendlesham, read this: You Can't Tell the People: The Definitive Account of the Rendlesham Forest UFO Mystery: The Cover-up of Britain's Roswell , as the Jenny Randles original book seems to be out of print. Containing several reports about the area of the forest, as well as about the Woodbridge Air Force base, the article (or a collection of clippings) makes a valid case about the High Strangeness that never left, as well as some government involvement:

The contactee, said he was astounded to read in her book "You Can't tell the People", that Georgina Bruni had been allowed entry to some of the buildings in the air base at Woodbridge….
"The sealed sectors, Georgina could not inspect, were decontamination units for soldiers who had been in contact with viruses and other gases - some died; some were very ill; others had to be sent home", he said.

His weirdest encounters involved tall, spindly people, who used certain doorways to enter and exit buildings, mostly at night. They never spoke, seemed to be in control and their faces were always concealed by breathing apparatus.

After the war, these strange characters remained on the base for years and might still be there. ..
A security guard told him that he did not know what was kept in the many vaults around this particular room. He stressed that it best not to ask questions, although innocent, could be misconstrued as an offence leading to courtmartial…

Although some information about past events begins to surface, he suspects that projects still continue there today, in secrecy under the ground.

On another, more recent case, this man writing to the BBC did a pretty thorough job of trying to find out what he saw. Not that he succeeded in any way, but an A+ for trying.
Read it, as the letter is as sincere as they come..

Last but not least, an article in PCMag (!) states that an alien invasion is imminent as shown by the spike in UFO activity during the last three months.
Invasion Talk going mainstream? Slowly but steadily..

Temple Mount UFO a film exercise?

In an anticipated turn of events, and after some fine journalistic research, an Israeli reporter managed to uncover some evidence that the Temple Mount UFO footage could be fake. Read the full sordid story here.

Although nothing conclusive is being mentioned, and no confession is on record, it casts a major shadow on the most High Profile UFO case of recent years.

The truth is yet to be uncovered..

Comet Elenin in Doomsday scenarios

I was somewhat oblivious of the fact that many many people believe that the Comet Elenin, passing now through our Solar System is in fact Nibiru, Blue Kachina, a spaceship and also responsible for all recent earthquakes, including the Big One in Japan. Not in an alphabetical order.

Starting with the obvious flaw of the theory, the flaw being it’s proponent, Richard Hoagland, conspiracy theorist and fanatic of major cover-up theories including the Moon landing and buildings found, the face on Mars and more.

Now it’s the Elenin Comet. It is supposedly tetrahedroidal in shape, changing course, getting bigger, has windows and is an all-around Doomsday Machine coming towards our way, this October (2011).

Read it if you are interested in some far-fetched theories, and hope they are not true. I do.
