(late) Gifts for the Paranormal Weirdo..

Some smart, some lame. The highlights include Ghost-Hunting Equipment from the aptly named ghost-mart.com/ (WTF!), as well as a piece of Software called Paratracker - Paranormal Case Management Software. According to the vendor, it includes images, sounds, videos, even a Google Map connection for Paranormal locales. Unfortunately there is no demo version, so if anyone was thinking of buying me a present, here's your chance (and a cheap one at that).
The only book in the list is called The Mothman's Photographer II,
witch sounds like the usual exploitation follow-up to a popular subject, but after reading some reviews, I started thinking that meybe there's more to it than that.
This guy sums it up with:
The Mothman's Photographer II is a fantastically strange trip into a world without rules, where just about anything goes, and where convention is thrown out of the window. But it works - and it works very well.
Surely it will make it to my Wish List.

So for those of you who have not gone present-shopping yet, or did not get what they asked Santa, here's the list to present to your equally weird family (pictured above).

Another secret(!) report on Human-ET contact

Betty Hill Map

In one of those WTF posts on UFO Digest comes the highly confidential (?) info on a meeting between aliens from the Zeta Reticuli Galaxy (pictured above on a Betty Hill sketch) and delegations from several countries. Te meeting allegedly took place on November 12th 2009, on a remote island in the Pacific, building on contacts originating in the 40’s and involving technology gifts from the aliens (What else?)

Now, I do not trust anonymous sources with huge disclosure. I mean, seriously, WTF? I do not know where to begin here.

So Instead, I will keep silent. More of the craziness, picture-free of course, on serpo.org

If any of this is proven to be true I will feel very stupid.

Letter from Nicola Tesla

image

To the American Red Cross, New York City.
The retrospect is glorious, the prospect inspiring: Much might be said of both. But one idea dominates my mind. This - my best, my dearest - is for your noble cause.
I have observed electrical actions, which have appeared inexplicable. Faint and uncertain though they were, they have given me a deep conviction and foreknowledge that are ere long all human beings on this globe, as one, will turn their eyes to the firmament above, with feelings of love and reverence, thrilled by the glad news: "Brethren! We have a message from another world, unknown and remote. It reads: one… two… three…"

Buried Secrets of the Pyramids (again)

image

Andrew Collins has a new book out, called Beneath the Pyramids. Nothing new there. He has published several books, and I have not read a single one of them. They seem interesting, but not quite enough to spend money on them. So why mention it?
Well, the interview he gave to Brent Raynes triggered my interest.

The new book is apparently about a discovery he made, along with his wife, of an underground system of caves in the Giza Plateau.
Now, how can you discover anything new on the Giza Plateau? I mean, seriously.. The most excavated part of the Planet and..
no wait. It is the most visited part of the planet. But excavations? I think the last one was around the middle of the previous century.
But still.. How come no one had found it? Or had they? The infamous watchdog of Egypt, Dr Hawass, denies the existence of caves in the Bird Tomb, as it called. But Collins has hundreds of photographs and video, and states that they went at least 100 yards in various passages before oxygen became scarce. Now it becomes interesting, right? Hawass has a reputation of trying to suppress any and all investigations leading to honest-to-god paranormal findings and ancient secrets, preferably tied to ancient astronauts, tech and gods. He is the man who stopped the investigation on the strange wooden door in the Great Pyramid back in the nineties, only to resume it in secret, as is reported here (bottom of the page).
Anyway, back to Collins, who claims that the cave complex he found could be the burial place of Hermes Trismegistus and his Emerald Tablet, the Holy Grail of Alchemists. You know, coal into gold and Immortality. (So how come Hermes died?)

I have no way of confirming or debunking any claim, but a good cave-hollow-earth-ancient secrets-paranormal-conspiracy-under-your-very-eyes story just makes my day..

H1N1 swine flu vaccine – Conspiracy time

After watching another video dealing with the Swine Flu Vaccine Conspiracy, I just couldn’t resist a comment, now that the vaccine is the talk of the world.
I am a sucker for conspiracy. We’ve established that. An old conspiratorial rule is that if you search hard enough, you will find evidence to support any and all conspiracies. The new aspect of this is that if you search Youtube hard enough, you will find videos to support any and all conspiracies.
The above video is one of many, but the sensationalist-telemarketing style of it makes it easier to watch, and maybe draw some conclusions before paranoia sets in.

Known facts so far: The H1N1 vaccine indeed seems to be a money-making opportunity grabbed by the pharmaceutical companies, and aided by the World Health Organization. (profit involved)
The Swine Flu is milder than regular flu, as proven by winter in Australia, but fear and panic is a lot more dangerous.
And last but nor least: People believe what they read first, what they are told second. If information is contradictory, they panic and blame the government.
The above docu-montage displays the usual array of mad activists, religious fanatics, weird people with PhD attached to their name and some not so weird. Some even make valid points against the vaccine.

Now for something less noisy:

This has some interesting facts: I was especially impressed that in the USA you cannot sue the companies if you die as a result of the vaccine (!). But the most impressive one of all is the vaccination-cancer connection back in 1909..

I cannot reach a conclusion here as easily as others. There is evidence on both sides, and both have been visibly (if you are not brain-dead) tampered with. It’s what I cannot see that scares me. The subtext. What each one stands to gain. What we have to lose..
The old X-Files line comes to mind: Trust No One.
It sounds pretty healthy to me in this day and age.

Ice on the Moon, fish on Europa (?)

image

Well, Nasa has officially announced that ice does exist on the Moon. Everyone expected it but now it’s official.

In another optimistic but nevertheless well-substantiated announce-ment, Jupiter’s moon Europa has enough oxygen in its oceans to support 3 million tons of fish, if indeed fish exist on Europa. That’s a lot of fish. Just wait till humans build a colony up there, and the (hypothetical) fish will not seem as many…

Thank you Crop Circle creators, whoever you are…

image

Photo and copyright Lucy Pringle

Well, taking into account the apparent solving of the above crop circle, witch seems to be a visual representation of pi, you know, circles and stuff, and watching yet another documentary on the subject, I had an interesting thought:

The creators of the crop circles, whoever they are, aliens, situationist artists, mathematicians on acid, have obviously succeeded in their goal: THEY HAVE BROADENED THE PUBLIC CONCIENCE TO ACCOMODATE THE UNKNOWN.
Now that seems kind of obvious, but think about that kind of stuff –UFOs, aliens, fairies, messages from elsewhere, parallel dimensions -  twenty years ago. It was all fringe, untouched by “mainstream” science, talked about in little groups of nerdy-looking people in shady cafes.. (I should know).
Now look at this. UFOs and crop circles are discussed in mainstream media and respectable universities conduct the investigations with state funding. Now that’s change!
It appears that the in-your-face approach of crop circles has done wonders for the human open-mindedness, what hundreds of books and thousands of lectures, apparently could not do.. The crop circles are there, huge, ubiquitous, and apparently the product of a major intelligence. Barring the chance of stoned kangaroos designing them, it appears that the effort was a well orchestrated one, perfectly executed, and the ideal prelude to an Unveiling of sorts.
The world is ready now, right?
